Answer:
If you need to modify any account information, Sign In to your account. Then, you can modify your account by selecting the appropriate account under Account Settings:
Use ‘Edit My Account’ to change things such as your personal contact information, login credentials, or permissions for being contacted and accepting payments from third parties. When you change your email, your account will be disabled until you confirm the new email. If you think you entered the wrong email address and cannot reactivate your account, contact us.
Use ‘Change My School’ if your workplace has changed. Use ‘Edit School’ if your workplace hasn’t changed, but your school or institution has changed in address or name.

Answer:
If you are leaving the role of Caribou Coordinator, changing career, or retiring, and you have no actively participating students registered to your account, simply leave your account. You can sign in and use “Edit My Account” to ensure you do not receive emails from Caribou.
If you do have participating students registered under your account, or you plan to take back up the role of Caribou Coordinator at your new school, you have a few options:- If there is already another Coordinator at your now-former school, transfer all of your active students to their account.
Sign in and use Manage & Print Access Codes to create the list of all your student accounts for this year, and give this to the new Coordinator, who can then use the Coordinator tool “Move a Student to my Account” to move all the students to their Coordinator account. - If there is no other Coordinator at your now-former school to take over your students from you, you can hand over your Coordinator account to another teacher/librarian/tutor/etc.
Simply give your login credentials to the new Caribou Coordinator, who can then log in, go to ‘Edit My Account’ and change the name, email, and password to their own. Once this is done, you can create a new Coordinator account for your new workplace if you need to. - If there is no other Coordinator at your former school and no one wants to take over your account, but you plan to continue organizing Caribou Contests for your new workplace, you can simply change your workplace.
Sign in and use “Change My School”, and continue using this account at your new school. The records for your former students at your former school will not be impacted (e.g. their certificates will still show the correct school, your former school where your new students’ certificates will show the correct new school).
- If there is already another Coordinator at your now-former school, transfer all of your active students to their account.

How do I update my school's IP address?

Answer:
On your Coordinator Homepage, go to Edit My Account. At the top right, click the button 'Update My School IP Address'. If you do not do that or if students do not write at that school, all that happens are comments about possible fairness violations in automatically sent emails. These comments only try to help running fair contests and have no other consequences.
